Eugene Mercer

Eugene LeRoy Mercer (October 30, 1888 – July 2, 1957) was an American track and field athlete who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

In 1912 he finished fifth in the long jump event and sixth in the decathlon competition.

At the same Olympics he competed in the baseball event which was held as demonstration sport.
